Established in Blanco, Texas, D. Ray Construction was founded in the hill country and has helped to build stunning homes in our beautiful community since 1996.
We are a full-service, custom homebuilder that offers custom design solutions. We strive to create distinctive homes that represent your personal style.
Our founder, Danny Ray, began as a carpenter in 1975 in Austin, Texas. With over 45 years of experience in residential construction and design, D. Ray Construction will be there to assist with every step of the home building process; from design consultation on your custom plan through the completion of your quality home. Danny believes in a personal approach to project management with site visits daily.
You’ll be involved in the process from beginning to end to ensure we meet all of your expectations, providing a personal home tailored to the lifestyle you envision.
The Team
Eugene Tober is our operations manager and has been with D. Ray Construction from the beginning. He has over 22 years of experience in the custom home-building industry. Eugene oversees day-to-day operations on all projects. His ability to lead and communicate with other contractors ensures a quality of craftsmanship and workflow that are vital to a successful project.
Chris Ray joined our management team in 2019 and will be assisting with operations, management and ownership in the company. Chris has over 7 years of experience in project coordination, estimation and digital plan design.
